Forum Rules: Please Read the Rules Carefully

Welcome to Digital Photographer Philippines Forum. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read the rules and regulations. These rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.

1. This forum is an international discussion forum about digital photography, photos, printing, color management, gear and techniques. Being an international forum, we would appreciate if all posts are generally in English. Taglish (Tagalog + English) is allowed, but again, as much as possible try to keep your posts in English.

2. You must use your Real Name as Your Username - Violating this rule will lead to account deletion without any notice from the administrators.Each member will have to include their first and last names. Your first name can be your nick-name. Tag names though are not allowed, ie. Mr. Pixel, Joe Photo, etc.. Digital Photographer Philippines will verify the identity of each of member. There will be no multiple identities in the Forum. Members with multiple identities will have their accounts deleted. We encourage real and complete names because Digital Photograher will host member events with support from our many sponsors. Members will eventually meet face to face and we want everyone to know each other by their real name rather than their tag name.

3.No member will impersonate any person or entity or falsely misrepresent any affiliation with a person or entity.

4. By registering and making posts, you abide by the Forum Rules, both stated and unstated.

5. Digital Photographer Philippines reserves the right to modify, move, delete, backup, and present it in other form, all posts in the Forums without prior notice to the members.

6. Message content must correspond with the content guidelines outlined in each forums description. Therefore, post in the appropriate forum.

7. Obscene language will not be tolerated in the forums. Please refrain from using any vulgar language that would offend someone else. Inappropriate words will be edited or deleted. Member using obscene language will be warned.

8. The forums will not be a venue for insults and attacks against any member of the forum. Members are free to disagree with others. Post containing personal insults and attacks will be automatically deleted, the member warned. If you are insulted please report to the moderators, but do not retaliate. This is also a case for using your real name in the forum. If you post insults, everyone will know what kind of a person you are.

9. No trolling or flame wars. Members attempting to bait others into a flame war will not be tolerated. Any posts containing such will be deleted and the member warned.

10. Duplicate or repeat posts will be deleted. Post bumping is also not tolerated. Wait for the reply to your questions.

11. Use appropriate titles. Try to be short but descriptive when submitting your posts.

12. No illegal suggestions. Respect the copyrights of other people, websites, software and printed media. No pointers on how-tos advocating any illegal activity. Posts regarding such will be deleted and the member warned.

13. No blatant advertising/spam or solicitation unless approved by the site owner. Do not use this site to promote and sell personal services. Posts that are not approved by the site owner will be deleted and the member warned. Professional photographers who offer services should send their request to the site owner. Digital Photographer has the right to decide whether or not to post these services.

14. Members will see some advertising from our sponsors. Please respect their presence since it is through their support that this site is maintained.

15. Keep the size of the images down.

16. Do not post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say, then dont post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member.

17. Political discussion not related to intellectual property rights are prohibited. As is any discussion regarding religion and sex.

18. Private messaging is a personal tool. Do not use it to spam or mass market any product or service. Members proven guilty will have their accounts deleted.
