I've barely broken in my D300 and this rumor comes up Won't upgrade anytime soon but it's fun to torture myself like this.. in some absurd masochistic way...

My basic premise is for the amount I would pay for that lens I would rather;

- Book a plane trip to wherever YOU are;

Not much use for a 200-400 here in the Philippines unless one is a specialized shooter (a paid one at that).

If CDSC rents it for 10k per event, I would still just take that option than buying one here in this country where you get punished for selling pricey gear coz' nobody can afford it so it's a buyer's market

Actually that is one good reason I would buy CDSC if they had this perk to rent long primes only to their units alone.
