Jay... any chance of visiting Iloilo soon? There are lots of beautiful and mystifying landscape scenes in Iloilo that would merit your extra-ordinary gift in capturing such legendary landscape scenes. I'll be in town (Iloilo) from 27th March 'til April 12, pasabi ka lang kon gusto mo bumisita at mag-photo-trek. I am planning to explore the Igbaras mountain ranges and photograph that elusive 100-ft waterfalls (http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexees/327173479/). Care to join me?
My dad has been telling me about Igbaras for the longest time! he's from Balasan, Iloilo...we have lots of relatives in Concepcion and Jaro as well.

My goodness....i wish i could do this full time! hahaha. Will let you know Ka Pepe.

@ Jay - Wonderful shots. I particularly love the first (great timing and excellent cloud formation) and 4th shot. Great long exposures, very peaceful.

Thanks for Sharing.

shot with a 3 stop soft-edged grad.

if i could help it, i would not use grads again. the disadvantage of using it the field in fading light came to fore during this trip. for me, blending exposures results in sharper, more contrasty images. grads get scratched, get dirty, etc....and when you use small apertures f11-f22, their every defect degrades the picture. and its hard to keep them clean shot after shot!
Jay Cornish the PRO, this is my kind of tone. Thanks.

Special thanks to our gracious host Gran! And the lovely couple Paolo and Joy Melendrez. As well as Jay Jallorina for sharing the invitation.

Also, I'd like to thank my gear sponsors, Franz A.D. Morales, Gid Ferrer and Niño Carandang. And our companions Tok Paler, Darryl Ong, Melvin Chua and ang bestfriend ni Jay duon... Richard Abrera.

This trip would not be successful without you guys. Love lots!

There is more to say about the place. The endless kulitan and asaran, the freshest seafood i've ever eaten, and the most dramatic light that i've ever encountered so far!

Indeed, you can never take a piece of Coron with you... you leave a piece of yourself in Coron..
