Re: Sigma 70-200 F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM
Does anybody know how much the version II of this lens is selling for in HK? Cause in JT it goes for around Php 37,500.
*like the Sigma 24-70 sells for Php 22,500 here but I heard you could get it for around Php 17,000 in HK. I just don't know if it's accurate.
I haven't really owned a fast lens, well except for the 50mm f/1.8, that's why when I tried this the other day, I fell in love with it. Now I'm having dreams of shooting with this heavy sucker. hehehehe! Damn fast AF also with my D80.

You can check HK prices here. .gif) Fairly regular updates so it's a good reference...

Re: Sigma 70-200 F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM
So maybe it's better to get Mk I than Mk II - and save around 2k?
Can anybody comment on this?

FR Javier - I'm actually looking into the difference bet. the two but couldn't find any. It seems that the weakness of mkII is the same as mkI.
sample from my mkI

Re: Sigma 70-200 F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM
Hi Guys!
The 50-150 2.8f and the 70-200 2.8f of sigma almost has the same price. Im planning to get a fast telephoto soon.
Why would i get the 70-200 ignoring the fact that it has more reach?

Re: Sigma 70-200 F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM
i'll settle for 70-200 DG also as it's full-frame (D3/D700) compatible... 50-150 is DX (DC) only....
