thanks ryan! yeah i was looking at it too. however i have my 50/1.4 which i use most of the time. it's just most useful to have all that speed eh.

and when i tried the 18-50 out i was disappointed it doesn't have a full time manual override (small detail lang but i was excited for it kasi HSM).

Congrats Diego on your new lens! I'm also interested in this lens but not at this time to get it. Maybe a sturdy tripod first.

I'm also confused w/ this one, but I have a 14mm so in no hurry yet. Want a 18-50 hsm first hehehe

Diego - Maybe if you have time, pls. shoot a scene w/ 10mm then almost/around 14mm. I just wanna know what I am loosing (the 4mm difference). Thanks. Try that lens at Narra park or St. James in Ayala.

aah if you have a 14mm then get the 18-50mm first. tell you honestly, it's a really nice lens. i'd probably get one if i had the money but i got the 10-20 first because i have a 50mm anyway. both are very well made, not exactly the sharpest (compared to the nikkors) but good enough

i'll do that 10 vs 14mm comparison when i've time

what 14mm lens do you have by the way?

Re: Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DG HSM DC

Diego - Planning to get the 18-50 2.8 HSM so that it will AF on my D40x but if ever I dispose of the D40x then maybe the Tamron 17-50 2.8 w/c is also sharp.

I have the Sigma 14mm 2.8 HSM.

Thanks in advance.
